Fonyuy thinks people bearing gifts don’t come with bad intentions so he takes gifts from two explorers. Thinking his people can benefit from knowing more about the strangers land, he sends his son to the foreigners’ land to learn about them but when they return without his son, the truth about their initial visit leaves the villagers shocked. A battle to preserve their sovereignty and survival ensues and will span for centuries.
