Join Brian Koscho of the Athens-based media arts and storytelling project Invisible Ground on a walk around Uptown Athens and Ohio University’s campus to get a brief look at some of the important places, people, events, and ideas that have shaped counterculture communities here in Southeast Ohio. We will visit sites of importance to protest movements, Black History, LGBTQA History, the arts, Civil Rights, and discuss the critical role communities like Athens play in developing and providing a home for these movements.
